The new owners have turned this once safe, friendly site into a malicious scam and hacker site.

This previously good site was sold and is now used by hackers. A misleading message on the front page suggests the site has merely been moved to a different server rather than changing ownership. Expect plenty of deceit from the new owners.
Do not provide any financial or personal data.
Do not download, install or use anything from this site.

Thanks mate, I was the previous owner (marko) and indeed the scumbags have taken over. I was tricked into believing the site would continue and I was even prepared to stay on indefinitely and help out. I just don't want the WOT community being tricked into thinking it's still me running it and don't want them fooled into thinking the site is still reputable.
Possible problems have occured that might have changed the trustworthyness of this site. Citations have been found here;

Thanks mate, I was the previous owner (marko) and was basically tricked into selling the site to a scumbag ... I just don't want WOT users tricked by the positive site ratings that took years to build up.
The ownership of this site has changed! Previous ratings should be either deleted or changed to reflect new ownership.

Thanks for your time and ratings, I was the previous owner and hopefully the scumbags that own it now underestimated the power that a good rep can have and wipe out any good rep they intend to use on the site now!.

As the previous owner of this website, i can regrettably confirm the site was bought by someone who intends on scamming people with facebook hacks. If you have previously markes this site positively and left good comments i would ask you now either remove them and/or mark down the site accordingly so other WOT users are able to see the change in ownership and their intentions.

Site owner/manager is very active on the site and puts every program through a battery of scans for malware and viruses. The board is helpful for finding information on which freewares are the best. If you have a problem with the software it's a good place to get help too. Almost 10,000 freeware titles to date...
