These sites have turned into welfare for the talentless and corrupt. The very existence of sites such as this corrupt and distort the art and entertainment of gaming as a whole while exploiting social issues and manufactured outrage for profit.

Giant Bomb is a wonderful Video Game wiki, news, and review site which isn't paid by bigger companies like so many others are. Because of that, they report from a reliably independent point of view, which I think is FAR more important for children than the occasional "bad word". Check it out!

Great site for video game info, news, and reviews, as well as entertaining personalities talking about games in general. Well secure, and an overall great site. In terms of child friendliness: They don't curse a lot, but occasionally there could be some F-bombs dropped. Also, nudity is allowed to be posted on video game Wiki pages, provided the image is from an in-game screenshot. There isn't anything overly sexual, and these images are used as informational most of the time, but it is possible to see some boobs or something. There's definitely other more child friendly video game sites out there.
