A great screen recorder. To be fair, I didn't rate this a bright green because it DOES install the Avg tool bar. Other than that, that is the only tool bar that comes with it.

I will never download Hypercam again since it installed something without my consent. I can't even remove it from my Firefox add-on ( DataMngr) since it has no remove button.
Hypercam is a decent software to record with, but even when you click skip to the scam offers it adds them anyway. You can try it at your own risk, but I won't consider downloading this ever again.

This program has limited functionality.
On the plus side - it is Free.
There is darn little out there at this time (2013) that can perform this task
and still be free - most want big bucks.

I like the Hypercam software, but even when you uncheck the option to download the toolbar, it does anyway. Luckily, my antivirus killed the toolbar before it was even installed!

This thing is awful. The software is horrible and it installs a toolbar with out asking. CamStudio FOR THE WIN!

I was a little scared on downloading because it closed my Chrome window without asking... I don't believe its infected with a virus, because a virus is more destructive then that, but still. Scared

I got 1 trojan in past with this cam, but its still good software. :)
All you need is a good anti-virus to protect your computer as it only attacks once!

This download is infected with adware-HB.Helper... This is a browser hijacker that redirects your homepage, will install trojan-downloaders without a prompt, redirects search engine sites, and comes with a nasty infected toolbar. There are plenty of alternate options than hypercam, such as camstudio and camtasia... I would stay away from hypercam!!!

When I downloaded the Unregistered Hypercam 2,(Version 2.14.02) the HC2setup.exe file embedded 10 trojans and P.U.P. programs (potentially unwanted programs) into my registry and messed with the contents of my Program Files folder in the hard drive.
Steer away from Hyperionics.com!!

This is a completely safe site. Hypercam 2 has beeen around for a while now. Everyone uses it. Its very popular. I like it even better than CAmtasia Studio 6. Its fast simple and neat. I don't know where you downloaded from but Hypercam 2 is clean. ***** is trash. Good software is marked as viuses because people are stupid enough to go there when it has a yellow rating. GO HYPERCAM 2!

I don't know where Deee downloaded it from, but I downloaded from ***** and I don't have a virus. Very good software, A bit laggy at times but there are no viruses. I use hypercam at least once a week.
