Bought my unit in Feb 2011, after switching from RCA to LG products. WAS really impressed with it, until I wanted to get the Hulu app. Hulu told me it would be rolled end of July. That did not happen, so I called LG, and was told devices with NETCAST, will receive no updates. I own two TVs, and 1 BD player... all with Netcast. Had I known this 'smart' technology was already out-dated, I would not have purchased them. Will I buy another LG product? No way jose! SO after less than 6 months, my TV will receive no further software updates (except for 'fixes'), but LG did offer to sell me another box, that I would be able to get Hulu. Do you think I am going to buy one of theirs? No way jose!
They continue to advertise... Netcast is the FUTURE of entertainment, yet they are no longer developing apps for it. And when the above review was left on their site, it was REJECTED. Honesty hurts!
Was tut man wenn man den aktuellesten Flash Player hat und er trotzdem laut LG Webseite veraltet ist. LG von mir eine dicke Abmahnung wegen totalen Mist in der Programmierung der Webseite.
Will nur Treiber haben fürs GD880 und nicht über 1000 Ecken suchen müssen.
