This site republishes news from sites that are unreliable and they do so without any apparent fact-checking being done. Untrustworthy. They need to tighten things up if they are going to lift themselves from the mire of online false news.

Nothing wrong with this website. Articles are sourced. They have feet on the ground. WHY does this news source get a yellow WOT dot when 10 people say they trust it and 2 don't? WOT, you have some secret agenda with your rating system, that's for damn sure!

Mint Press is one of the few honest, reliable news agencies out there that isn't in the pocket of either the right or the left. Journalism as it used to be.

To be fair, I have only encountered one particular issue with this site, and that it issued the following post without due diligence, and without updating it to inform its readership that the story was - in fact - fake.

I don't know what the rest of their content is like, but if this sort of thing filters through without correction or withdrawal, then the site cannot be trusted.
It is a sad day for a website, when it gets taken down by Buzzfeed.
