Monster is a global online employment solution for people seeking jobs and the employers who need great people. We've been doing this for more than 20 years, and have expanded from our roots as a "job board" to a global provider of a full array of job seeking, career management, recruitment and talent management products and services.

I was taking some classes in business and I did a study on websites like monster and others like it. Monster was one of the highest for getting spam and 1/8 of these jobs someone will respond. So the legitimacy of this site is in question. Wither they have changed their tune I don't know but I will say they are putting up ads on Hulu. One other thing look for you local Department of Labor website its much safer than using something like this. Oh and if someone does put something on their website that is bogus there is legal action done. So 99.9% of the time on those sites your not gonna find something that just spam.

After I signed up with Monster.com, I started getting job offers for Insurance Agent Positions, for which I have NO experience for and NO desire for. Probably not totally Monster's fault, but it does mean they sign up unethical employers... I'd stay away.
