Safe and child friendly. Many games to play for free. Their money is made through paying for "extra" in game items (such as pets or outfits etc...) So there are no monthly fees. While the "Cash shop" items are nice they are not needed to play and you can get by just fine without them. As with most games I've played, the customer service can be a pain if you have a problem with your game, but other than that, this is great ^_^

NEXON AMERICA is a great company for free scamming unbalanced games. Games such as COMBAT ARMS are infested with hackers, and scammers waiting to steal your information. Prepare to be scammed on PayPal, NEXON AMERICA will take almost double of the money that was bought. Support is impossible, as it could potentiality take one year for a automated response. You will rarely see a GM (Game Master), and all game is horribly unbalanced, due to the "godly" items, that are purchased using real-life money. There is no SSL (Secure Sockets Layers), which means "bye bye password". Also a lot of advertisement, which appear after the game is closed. The ads also has the frequency to "be stuck" and will not close for 30 seconds. Join the scammers, and prepare to have your bank account drained!

Gotta say, Nexon is one of the best suppliers of free MMORPG's.Maple Story and Mabinogi are both great games and are both highly addicting. As for the whole cash shop thing, I personally don't find fault with it. Yes, the items are mostly cosmetic in nature, and they all only last for 90 days after you import them to the game from the cash shop, but if you don't buy them, then who cares? It's a nice little addition for those who are willing to spend money on it.

And if yes, it´s maybe in the tech support, because some antivirus block the game (the firewall can be a problem too) @Lost428: I never had those problems. @Wisci: Nexon is business. Business have to obtain money. NX is the way they use to obtain money. For the ppl saying you got an error playing their games: Dudes, maybe you got some problem with your hardware, or you are some maplestory (or other games) haters! : D I <3 MapleStory

Made countless attempts to actually give them money and they won't take it. I am constantly bombarded with useless and meaningless errors such as the one at http://www.nexon.net/errorPage.html. There is no maintenance or upgrades - this has been going on for ages now. I was also told by their system that I'm too "high risk" to accept my payment. The first time I tried to contact support, I spent 30 minutes collecting all the information I needed and was given "Error: There was an error while processing". I closed and reopened everything and I got again, "Error: There was an error while processing". I could not contact them! There is no phone number to call them! Several days later it finally works but all the time I spent into trying to contact them was wasted. So far support have not explained this "high risk" problem directly. All I get is reproduced predefined replies which dance around the topic but tell me nothing on how to fix the problem. Another error when I try and make payment is something along the lines of, could not Login, please login and try again. I mean... I can logout and login 10 times and it makes no difference. "I am sorry to hear you have had trouble while trying to purchase NX Cash" - GM Daliah, Support. Well thanks GM Daliah, so am I! Nexon are not interested in hearing about my problem further, they've made that so plainly clear thus far. But I'm sure the readers here are interested. I have wasted so much time and energy in a desperate attempt to get this working with every possible way and I am constantly hit with brick walls. Nexon - your game has been uninstalled and I have shared my experience with all my fellows. They too have had enough and are doing the same.

It IS a waste of hard earned U.S. dollars to buy 5000 NX Cash for $5, for some items that last 90 days...and most of them are for basically virtual appearance. Overpriced I might add. Also in Maplestory, there are hackers, spam, bad language for young children who are trying to play a game. Source: Personal Experience.
