Безопасен ли old-games.com?

Finding lots of games I played in the 80's and 90's, including some of my Amiga favorites! It is well worth the $12 for a month of fast downloading. I was in the process of downloading Star Trek: Borg, and Norton AV said the installer .exe file has a virus. I contacted old-games.com and they responded back the next day (so that made me feel better). They said that some older games, especially those with .exe files, do get flagged as containing viruses, but they assured me all content has been checked to be virus free. Sure, there is always the possibility a virus can be there, but I feel this site is no worse than any other. I have now downloaded 32 games with no other warnings. I was able to find Star Trek Borg on another site, so I left that one alone just in case.

Stupidly paid $6 for access and the download speed was around 5k which meant the file i wanted would take 3 days yet I was only allowed 24 hours to download it. Also it has to be said that many people have given this a negative rating yet WOT is still flagging it as suitable. Makes me wonder if this app is even worth keeping as it's clearly ineffective.

Chose the 'free download' option without paying... it IS there, you just have to use your eyes... Unfortunately it was limited to just TEN KILOBITS PER SECOND (or maybe TEN KILOBYTES - it makes little difference at that slow speed). So, forget this site.
