Безопасен ли osha.gov?

I think OSHA showed up at my workplace, but the inspector did not at all interact with employees, and my boss is now giving me the silent treatment. Before calling OSHA make sure to have a contingency plan. EDIT December 2016: I lost my job, but failed to have enough evidence to prosecute. EDIT July 2017: OSHA regulations are at risk due to recent political changes, and their ability to create and enforce safety regulations to protect employees could be compromised.
