Pcthreat is a website that gives tutorials on how to remove viruses manually. Pcthreat uses enigma's software, SpyHunter. You can download it from their website, which i don't recommend. SpyHunter does detect viruses and everything, but you have to pay to get rid of it all. Overall, its OK to visit , however don't download SpyHunter. Stick to manual removal or AVG.

PC Threat is a website that gives informative information of Malware threats such as Rogue Security Software, Trojan Horse, and furthermore. It provides pictures, videos, and removals (manually). They distribute Engima Software's software, SpyHunter. You can find it on the main page of their website on HOT Downloads on the right side or if you click any contents, you will see a scanner if you click any contents. Both directs users to download and install SpyHunter. I tried SpyHunter before on my virtual machine. It literally DOES DETECT REAL Malware in general, but it wants you to make a purchase if you want to remove it. It acts as every other rogue security software out there. There is no "Update" anywhere for it as well. Overall, PC Threat's website is safe to visit to check the information, videos, pictures, and furthermore but STAY AWAY from the download and scans. DO NOT TRUST SpyHunter.

This website downloads SpyHunter, a rogue (fake) antivirus software. It is used to scare you into buying it and it does not do anything. They even show the name of the program on their own website. This is a full on scam and I recommend you do not visit this website.

What's not to love? Trojans, adware, and malware galore! Another Enigma Software clone, this one also attempts to scare users into downloading a virus-ridden program to "remove viruses and clean their PC". It's quite simple really, don't go to this site or trust anything by the publishers. Period.

This site is good. it gives very clear instructions on malware, spyware, and viruses. It gives vert clear instructions on how to remove them also. there looks to be ads on the page that could link to bad programs, but just dont be a fool and dont click them. Google often promotes bad programs but that doesnt have a bad rating, stop being idiots

What I think we have here are two problems. The first being a case of mistaken identity as one of their products is similarly named to a known rogue fake AV product. I have no direct evidence that ***** is responsible for the fake AV and so the only fault there is a poor name choice. If PC Threat was first to use the name Win 7 anti-virus they would be well served to walk away from that name as it is forever blemished by the rogue products that have co-opted the name. Second, the products they do provide do not seem to be top-tier solutions as compared to the market of other leading AV and anti-malware products. I installed their Spyhunter 4 trial verison in a VM and it is certainly not a rogue product as one might fear but I am not impressed with the product either. This is not the venue for product reviews so I will leave it at that. The site is safe for anyone.
