Disregarding some opinions, I disagree that this site promotes any kind of hate or discrimination. It doesn't try to insult or attack any group and they have good points against the pornographic industry. People can disagree with their point of view, but there are no reasons to be signed as suspicious.

This site is completely safe! I truly hope others ignore the bad ratings as they were only done because the voters didn't like the message of the site, and not for any reasons that WOT is designed to protect users from. Use with an easy mind as there is no danger here.

This site is run by fundamentalist Christians who believe their extremist views need to be forced on the rest of the world. Pornharms uses deceit and propaganda to preach their message instead of facts. This website cherry-picks sprinkles of scientific data that conveniently suites their agenda while ignoring the mountains of research that doesn't fit their dogmatic viewpoint.

Far from hateful, this site is useful for information on the harm that pornography causes. It is not a victimless crime, no matter what you tell yourself or hear from users of porn. I would say it is not child safe only because of the issue of porn.

The website uses a lot of misinformation about an industry it knows nothing about. They claim to be against porn which they claim should be all around illegal. The content isn't illegal or hateful. The language seems really religious biased. The problem is that the organization behind this site is mostly interfaith groups. Now, I don't agree with all the points like Nokkenbuer who nailed it on the head when he pointed out that all out prohibition of any kind of substance (drug, alcohol, or in this case ADULT entertainment) will only increase the opposite effect it is fighting for." It will not stop the trafficking of human beings, raping of innocents, or make it anymore safe. The fact is that what MIM is trying to create is a moral crusade against everyone. What they don't get is that the industry they are fighting against so much has done so much to curb the rates of sex slavery; child sex trafficking, exposure, and sexual assaults on children; and the use of a special seal on all potential LEGAL porn sites. Such precautions are an advancement compared to that of Morality In Media which has done nothing but censor people who are doing more for the very same kind of cause: Protecting children from pornographic content. In my humble opinion it is the right of the Parents to say what their offspring shall read, watch, do, or say not the religious wing-nuts who crusade for no good reason. The Parents who have children should also be aware of what questionable content their young will see and be at the ready to answer questions. They should be ALSO RESPONSIBLE for installing parental control software on their computers.

Yes, there is corruption and violence in the pornography industry, however this is not unknown by the millions of people who watch it every single day. In fact, violence and corruption are consistent aspects of EVERY major company and corporation — needless to say, Morality In Media, Inc. is one such organization. Nevertheless, the connection between legal adult pornography and sex trafficking is almost non-existent and most sources claiming such absurdities are illegitimate, ignorant associations and websites just like this *****. Some studies have suggested that there is a correlation between "desensitization, sexual exploitation, dehumanization, sexual dysfunction, the inability to maintain healthy sexual relationships, and encouragement of human trafficking and pedophilic acts" [Courtesy of Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia], however many of the aforementioned studies are inconclusive and therefore rendered invalid when under the pretense of concrete evidence. That said, the sheer stupidity of the absolutist, irrefutable claims these people (the ones at ***** and its associates) are alleging is repulsive because not only is there little substantial evidence to support their postulates, but the basis of their persecution is morality — a subjective, secular conception that has been perverted (no pun intended) by religious institutions. Now, I am a Theist who was raised by Christian parents, so my words aren't being influenced by any anti-theistic views, however I am quite appalled by the Gnosticism and closed-mindedness this website and those like it hold. As far as I'm concerned, PornHarms.com is just another extremist religious organization aiming to conform people to a certain fallacious lifestyle against their wills. My best suggestion is to avoid this website and all who condones its actions because without actual evidence to back up the bullshit these imbeciles fling out, it would be counterproductive to give them any merit.
