Безопасен ли quttera.com?

The reports they produce are misleading at best. Seems to be designed to sell their services to scared website owners. Their scanner can’t even follow relative links nor does it understand mailto links and ends up scanning the wrong target. There has been more work put into making the reports look scary than actually producing good reports.

I agree with comment by Apollo702 that Quttera are more likely to show a site as suspicious than most othe sites/products. However, based on looking at hundreds of sites on Virus Total, I would say Quttera tend not to be on their own - there are usually a few others saying a site is suspicisious even though most AVs do not. It could just be that the Quttera algorithm may set the level for "Suspicious" lower than other products/sites. I think the site is very worth using, as sometimes they are in a minority of 1 or 2 products, but Quttera is still correct. I have also seen a site where Quttera marks a site as suspicious because it links to another site which is malicious. So is that a False Positive?

The disturbing number of false positives from a service that sells security raises some serious questions in my mind. When you pull up the list of services from URL void Quttera consistently flags things that nobody else does. I would very much like to see their methodology or some evidence that they know something nobody else seems to know. The other pattern I keep seeing is they flag sites- but then when you look them up on it's pages they often times aren't flagged. Hmmmm....

I use this site a lot, using it from VirusTotal when looking up a URL. Blacklisted by... AVG SCUMWARE

As stated in the quttera web site. It doesn't detect viruses and it is NOT the Antivirus solution. It detects exploits/ embedded executable code in the files where it should not be. It is said that such 'inspectors' even do not bother to get aqcuainted with the object of their 'inspection'.
