On rare occasions it can cause legitimate security companies to incorrectly label Mindspark products as malicious. We work directly with the major security vendors—large and small—to prevent these “false positives” from occurring, and to quickly correct the misclassifications when they arise. However, some of the smaller, less advanced security software vendors still mistakenly label certain Mindspark products as adware or spyware due to lack of resources for comprehensive internal investigation or simply because they have not had the benefit of the same level of direct communication with us.
