I've had some fishy experiences with it. Weird errors and shit. Something about a trojan after one of their annoying-ass popups. This was on my old trashy computer so I wasn't too worried. Otherwise, it's a decent site for finding... what you need, but in the end there are better places (R34 tumblr blogs are often goldmines on a safe site, as much as i dislike the rest of tumblr).

It's members specialize in the creation of erotic art (sometimes errornously and sometimes as humour). The domain was bought around February 23, 2006 but mainly took off in 2007 where it allowed artists to collaborate and create content to be viewed by registered members of the website and anonymous guests. Despite the oxymoron in my ratings this website is surprisingly very well run, community is sensible and adept but the community can be a bit abrasive, especially due to Anonymous posting, the website is trustworthy enough to be at full green in my opinion but at dark red for child safety for the explictness of the domain and its purpose. Paheal is rarely a target of DDOS or malicious software hosts or ads. In fact, it has sponsors which are green-rated as well. As for the content on the site, all the *art* (lets just call it that) is relatively well-drawn and rules are set out and moderated for any illegal or repulsive content (of which is not real representations of minors or actual necrophilia). Each website ***** (which uses the Danbooru CSS) is nicely laidout and easy to follow and the sponsors are trustworthy too (Zonetan NSFW, Palcomix NSFW) Rest assured this is one of those sites that shouldn't viewed by a child partly due to the excessive amount of pornographic art (or erotic art) and some controversial 'fetishes' that may be displayed which could upset other users.

Good website if you like hentai but be careful sometimes they will have pop-ups that get through your pop-up blocker with viruses and other things. It's not that bad though. And they will have disgusting advertisements so I recommend you use Ad-block.
