Like your very own church isn't asking for money. Many religions and cultural beliefs are harmful. All I want to know from the wot community is if a site is going to harm my computer or identity. People have a right to their religious believes or lack there of. I think Pentecostals drinking strictnine and handleing rattle snakes is dangerous. Praying over your dying child for healing instead of seeking medical treatment for something as simple as an appendectomy is DANGEROUS!!!

VERY Dangerous- its a Cult in which you buy "auditing sessons" - sessons in which you reveal everything bad about your life while holding two metal cans which are hooked upto a pseudo-lie detector, all your bad stuff is written down and can be used aganist you if you decide to leave the group. They harass their critics with lawsuits, phonecalls, fax spam, etc etc. Even assassination is a posibility if you get too "noisy".

I'll pay $5,000 if anybody with a negative comment has read a single book in the last year. $50,000 if anybody with a negative comment has read a Scientology book. I have, Brilliant stuff and this site is full of kick ass information. Cleanest site on the net.

If you are interested in Scientology, I'd strongly recommend reading some of the criticisms that've been levelled against the group alongside their own literature. Wikipedia offers a number of well-balanced articles, and if you simply want to get a quick handle as to why the group has provoked such controversy, the article ***** is as good a place as any to start. In a nutshell though: don't be misguided into thinking that they're "just another self-help group," or "wacky religion." They're a deeply criminal organisation, convicted many times, in many courts, in many countries. Many religions have a troubling past, normally due to misguided followers, Scientology's most heinous acts on the other hand, are mandated by it's founder.

Stop calling this site a cult. This site doesn't promote hateful material, but the WOT users that posts hateful comments to this site are. This is not the right place to post hateful comments to this site. Even though we have Free Speech, we must learn to give respect to the WOT Community, the owners of the site, and the Church of Scientology. Think twice before you post anything that can be hurtful or rate poorly to certain sites that you may think that it has hateful or malicious material.
