Безопасен ли shoplet.com?

Spammers added me to their email newsletter and spammed me. Congratulations Shoplet by adding me to your newsletter you did 2 things: A. you lost a customer. B. you guaranteed that I will be filing a complaint with the FTC for violations of the Federal CAN-SPAM act.

I have purchased online from Shoplet 3 times and have had mistakes with my orders ALL 3 times. With the last order they were out of stock on an item that cost $47 and shipped me a $20 item without telling me OR changing the amount -- instead, they listed the item number for the $20 item but kept the $47 price! Previous orders were incomplete or the wrong item (but the same price). THEY CANNOT BE COUNTED ON TO SHIP WHAT YOU ORDER.

Some difficulty in site navigation. Made order, as this site was rated green . As I completed my order the green rating started flashing red! I closed my connection and called them on the phone. Shoplet customer service confirmed my order over the phone, so it looked good to go. I began to get repeated ads in my mailbox, even though I had specified NO MAIL. This was a clean account that had never before gotten spam. Suddenly I have all kinds of objectionable spam from odd addresses. Some contained my addy in an open list of recipients! The order was not delivered. Shoplet now says it's out of stock. I was told that there is a large lag time on the website updates. Today, I checked the status, and now they say it is on back order, and claimed to have credited my charge account. I have not been able to verify that yet. I would not trust this company again.

Ok. I just got my order. EVERYTHING came in, EVERYTHING, and they even sent me a newsletter with upcoming sales. Every item was wrapped in plastic and it all came in a decent, medium sized UPS box. Thumbs up to Shoplet. Saved me a fuckload of money over Staples, I can tell you that for sure. This is VERY good for college students living on a budget, or your average citizen looking for a cheaper deal on office supplies.

I've never used ShopLet before until yesterday. When my order comes in I will update this review. I just placed an order for some school supplies (pens, pencils, paper, that sort of thing). My bank account info shows that the correct amount was deducted out of my credit card. ShopLet apparently is also listed on Amazon and even on Google Shopping. I'd say they're reliable, but I have to wait until my actual order comes into my house for me to give the final good or bad verdict.
