Безопасен ли siteadvisor.com?

Siteadvisor has, in fact, worked for me in the past, but I sometimes found it too unreliable. Some of the various methods of flagging websites proved to be useless (linking to a flagged website, even through a text ad, will automatically flag your site). Even then, it took months to remove the red flag off the site, but that's only because the site owner specifically asked for the site to be rechecked. With only one authority when it comes to flagging websites, it becomes extremely difficult to know whether a site is malicious or not. I'm not saying that communities such as WOT are perfect in every way, but these communities are, as a whole, more reliable than blindly trusting one source.

Siteadvisor isn't all that bad but the website's stupidity to give notable "bad" websites like kazaa and ***** a green rating is totally unacceptable. On a side note, you should check out the user comments for kazaa. Some dumbass kept spamming the page bragging about how safe kazaa is. It took Mcafee about three months to realize about his comments and take most of them down! (some of his comments are still up)/ I use Siteadvisor along side WOT, and Safeweb to check for websites but I prefer WOT over those two. The only things I like about Siteadvisor is their download tester and "website link map" (chart that shows what other websites are linked to one website). PS: lawlz! 199 useless ratings! That's a lot! In no time, it'll be 200 and counting!

The level of neglect and corruption is one of the reasons that I use MyWot. If you can't trust the ratings, then there's no reason it should even exist; unless you count money of course. If you don't like my comments, you can leave them the hell alone and quit huffing paint thinner.

Bad! Wot does better ratings than site advisor! ***** is green on site advisor i think the malware companies pay people like site advisor so that could give them a good rating . compared to WOT siteadvisor is useless pretty much.. it is biased in the ratings of sites big time.. good sites get yellow or red rating while lots of bad sites get greens. i think they accept money from sites to keep them green.. such as IAC Media (the owner of the mywebsearch sites) all their sites are green when everyone knows they give you bad bad adware infections that can really mess up computers.. i'd say use WOT and pay attention to your surfinh instead of relying on mcafees siteadvisor
