Безопасен ли skeptoid.com?

If you like to waste time on arguing what is fact and what is fiction - that's your site. If you want to find the truth - stay away. Gathering knowledge is by doing OWN research and reading - books and as much information as you can find. Trusting some random payed guy, who's job is to "battle conspiracies".... shows that you don't value your time :)

Great show providing useful information and, more importantly, teaches people how to subjectively analyze a phenomenon to determine whether it is true or false. Though I don't agree with everything Brian Dunning says, I respect his objectivity and methods.

One of the old stand-bys of skepticism, Skeptoid Podcast addresses myths and urban legends weekly in a pleasant and entertaining way. There are over 350 episodes. There is a handy app, the Skeptoid Companion, as well as the website, email subscription and facebook page. Brian Dunning explores everything from The Aquatic Ape "theory" (that I had believed until listening to his episode), to the Men in Black, to the Antikythera, listener feedback, student questions, and even musicals! I listen when I'm walking and sometimes laugh out loud, or shake my head when I learn something new. Thumbs up!

cog's comment and links concerning Brian Dunning's indictment in a wire fraud case have nothing to do with the Skeptoid website. This is an ad hominem attack, not an analysis of the quality of the site itself. This would be akin to voting down ***** because Martha is a convicted felon. It may be true, but it is irrelevant to the value of the information presented. Furthermore, Dunning has not been convicted, only indicted. We'll all have to wait and see what the final verdict is before we begin any public shaming.
