It claims to make chatting more fun by getting their smileys but instead, it will download Potentially unwanted programs and viruses on your system. It will also hijack your browser, because it will install its toolbar and change your browser's homepage. And also it is very hard to remove it.

Products from this site install various items of malware that monitors your browsing habits and sends them to person or persons unknown (I don't know what else it does but it installs somesort of IM application). To clean your computer of ALL the malware is time consuming and tedious because as well as uninstalling the software in Control Panel it also involves editing the registry and your browser configuration.

This program and all its descendents (browser add-ins etc) are badly programmed and prove to be removable only by hacking the registry and diving deep into hidden folders with unrecognisable (encoded) directories. Only malicious software (or software with malicious intentions) does so much trouble hiding its installation files from the user! A normal removal from the installed programs list leaves all kind of debris scattered through the user files and registry. Do not install this and if installed ;-( start uninstalling immediately! For removal of the Chrome extension (that is installed in all chrome profiles without asking the user) you have to dive into the directory "AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\External Extensions" under "drive:\users\username" to find a (coded) directory containing a file called "sweetfb.crx". Remove the coded directory and restart chrome. Then search your registry for "sweetim" and remove every occurence.

This is a horrible piece of software. It all started after I decided to update my Klite codecs. I chose to download the install package from one of the mirror sites DOWNLOAD.HR . The download was not Klite but a stub program to get you to install DOWNLOAD GURU which is supposedly needed to download the Klite. After you install the DOWNLOAD GURU, then all hell breaks loose! The SWEETIM software quietly installs in the background and changes ALL YOUR BROWERS home page, search engines and toolbars to their crap! Then it installs 2 spy programs in memory! It took me over an hour trying to get rid of this stuff from my computer.

Interesting software and fun but not worth the risk. It will load thing despite opting out. Also a lot of adult content. Do not uninstall through their given ways, opt to use the OS provided system. For Windows; control panel- Programs & Features. After do a search for sweet and remove any programs that appear.

Also, it seems they have paid McAffee and TRUSTe (read: in case of McAffee, they give different file when it detects McAffee company and in case of TRUSTe they have paid for certificate). They also attempted to do this at WoT (by creating multiple fake accounts), but as flags are weighted, it isn't really kind of helpful...
