Безопасен ли vdownloader.com?

Do not install this useless program. It is obsolete and installs malicious software and phishing scam programs on your desktop. On my computer it installed Safe Saver an advertising Firefox add-on which monitors and tracks your internet usage and distributes advertisements on the sites you visit. If you want a program to download audio and video files and if you are a Firefox user please consider installing the Firefox addon Download Helper for video files and Easy Youtube Video Downloader for audio files. Don't believe the people below they are definitely scammers trying to trick people into installing this virus infested obsolete and dangerous program.

I stopped trying to install this in my sandbox computer after the (literally) fifteenth 3rd party software package the installer tried to trick me into downloading. No I do not want to set my homepage to some advertising site. No I do not want to change my default search engine. No I do not want five toolbars. No I do not want additional software installed to my desktop. Babylon translator? Seriously? I have experience trying to remove the translator. It isn't easy. Should be classified as malware for sure. Can't comment on how well the vDownloader works, but I would still avoid it due to all the 3rd party add-ons.
