Безопасен ли weather.weatherbug.com?

I have NOT chosen a sponsor, I still get pop-ups and an occasional drive-by download. The latest was a fake-av program. I understand you folks have to make money, but it should not be from malware sites. That said, if you know what you are doing, this is a good free weather program. Just be careful!

This website is dangerous, avoid it. Downloaded Weather Bug on Feb 24,2011, for my in laws in Cleveland ,Ohio, for them to check the weather temperatures and wind before they head out to walk.Right after that the desktop was bombarded with a pop-up called "Spyware Doctor"asking to buy this software to clean comp.It closes every page to remain in the top of desktop and slows down comp to a crawl.It was self installed in my desktop.It was impossible to eradicate it.Uninstall did not work.I had to Google it to find out that it was a TROJAN .A website called "gigabytes" offer a scanner and removal for free.

It used to be bundled with much more DEADLY software like Zango and was, itself, rather mischievous, bringing ads and using .VBS trickery to reinstall itself after you deleted it manually . Now Mozilla is saying it's safe with ***** I'm not sure what to think, but I'll avoid it until it sorts itself out.
