Although the e-magazine "Health & Nutrition" can be interesting, my experience with trying to cancel their recurring, annual $37 fee has been a nightmare. They send you an email a month or two before the annual recurring fee (on your credit card) will become due. The title of this email looks no different than the other emails they send (so it would be very easy for someone just to delete it). When you open it though, then you see that they mention that your card will be charged the annual fee in the near future... and if you want this to happen... do nothing. There was an (800) number to call however. So I called. There is never a "live person" option. After listening to about two minutes of how easy it is to just let the subscription go on - "just hang up now" - callers are finally given the opportunity to cancel. I entered the Account Number, and they verify the name on the account. You'll then be assured (by the recorded voice) "Your account has been cancelled." Sounds good, right? Well my problem is that... I HAD TO DO THE EXACT SAME THING ABOUT A YEAR AGO! That' right. Apparently they still keep your credit card information on file. Next year, I'll probably be going through the same process again. Hopefully I "catch" the sneaky email and won't get charged the $37 for another year. Of course, when I receive my credit card statement, the $37 will be charged under some innocent sounding name so I won't be able to associate it with "Health and Nutrition" e-magazine. SUMMARY Obviously, this company uses sneaky and deceptive tactics to increase their chances of continuing to charge customers' credit cards annually - even if they go through the automated cancellation process. Unless I change my credit card number, I know I'll be going through this again next year. I strongly encourage anyone contemplating doing business with this company to think twice. There are many other "health" e-magazines out there that don't resort to these unethical "recurring billing schemes".
