Spam message: "USCPI" with some "click here" hyperlinks (yeah, right). Header: ccm234.constantcontact.com ([208.75.123.234]). The recipient does not know who this is to be clicking on anything, which makes this, yes: spam. More spam: "Falta una semana: Reúnase con líderes de infraestructura". Header: ccm182.constantcontact.com ([208.75.123.182]). I guess that "Email Marketing" and spam are one and the same. Going RED.

Unlike their competitors, I haven't gotten unwanted, unsigned up for emails from ConstantContact. YMMV... I am NOT a customer of Constant Contact or any other bulk mailer, nor am I employed by any bulk mailer, including Constant Contact. I believe that Constant Contact some how vets their clients better.

It's either: A shop or other that uses SPAM to his promotion (adverts), even famous brands, deemed reliable, do the same now, I've seen public services in any country to use SPAM for their advancement (tourism, trade fairs, shows, festivals, etc..), there is only a small step for hospitals, police, governments, schools, ... will go do the same too. A disaster of modern times now affecting other means of mobile communications (smartphones, tablets, SMS, etc..). Or if it's either: An address used for SPAM, endless new addresses (even the wacky, with a letter changed, weird word, numbers, .......) are created permanently to bypass filters, updated constantly, that harassed and antispam services put to block this scourge! Apparently this is the feast of site creations including fake sites for spam, scams, to sell us (legally or illegally) their products or services, and pollute the planet with electric resources wasted, thank you also HOSTS complaisant with the SPAM and the world of profit! One day, the number of Internet domains used for SPAM extensively exceed the number of useful internet domains, like the number of SPAM received which represents 90% of e-mails that are received in the world! Ou il s'agit sinon soit: Une des adresses servant pour le SPAM, une infinité de nouvelles adresses (même les plus farfelus, avec une lettre qui change, un mot bizarre, des chiffres, .......) sont créé en permanence pour contourner les filtres, mis a jour en permanence, que les harcelés et les services antispams mettent pour bloquer ce fléau! Apparemment c'est la fête des créations de site y compris des faux sites pour du spam, des arnaques, de la publicité pour nous vendre (légalement ou illégalement) leur produits, ou services, et polluer la planète avec des ressources électriques gaspillés, merci aussi les hébergeurs complaisants envers le SPAM et le monde du profit! Un jour, le nombres de domaines internet servant à du SPAM dépassera largement le nombre de domaines internet utiles, à l'instar du nombre de SPAM reçus qui représente 90% des e-mails qui sont reçus dans le monde! Constant Contact has been sending me unwanted emails on behalf of an online website (specopsbrand.com). I had ordered something from specops a number of years ago. I never opt in to receive marketing email. In order to unsubscribe from Constant Contact, one has to confirm one's email address--the opt-out link leads to a web page that has my email address listed with the first and last character of the email address before the "@" sign. In order to unsubscribe, I would have to enter my complete email address. Most (if not all) other opt-out web pages do not require this. I emailed Constant Contact (using a disposable email address) and asked them to change their opt-out methodology. They responded by saying that they use this unsubscribe methodology "so the customer that is opting out will be able to make sure that they are unsubscribing the correct email address". As I was writing this comment, I looked again at yet another email that I received today. I noticed that in addition to an "unsubscribe" link, there was also a link to "update profile/email address". I clicked on this link and it took me to a web page that required me click on a "submit" button in order to receive instructions for updating my account. I clicked on this "submit" button and subsequently received an email with a link to a web page had my complete email address, blank fields for updating personal information, AND A CHOICE TO "Unsubscribe me from ALL mailings". After I clicked on the latter link, I got a button that said "Yes, unsubscribe". After I clicked on this button, I got a web page that stated "Update Your SPEC.-OPS. Profile Thank you! Your profile changes have been processed." Hopefully, this will unsubscribe me!
