"In October 2013, The Washington Post reported that the U.S. National Security Agency intercepted communications between Yahoo's data centers, as part of a program named MUSCULAR."
While Google certainly is just as guilty of privacy violations, the G-mail spam filter is very robust UNLIKE the Yahoo spam filter! The Google search engine is also much more accurate than Yahoo's, although it is heavily censored by political and copyright paranoiacs.
Yahoo is Good for tring to look at information in a glance with news posted on the main page. but when it comes to searching I would rather use google. Yahoo Helps me look at the news in a glance and can help me by offering diffrent catigorys such as movie and travel to find information in a flash. To me yahoo is more of a news company rather then a Search comany.
The abuse address listed in the whois information for Yahoo IP's, does not exist. firstname.lastname@example.org does not work either, and refers to a website where there is no form to report abuse. I see no way to report e-mail abuse.
Yahoo! is a news site that covers a wide range of topics, including national/international news, sports, celebrity scandals, and many other topics. Unfortunately, many of these topics may not be appropriate for children. Additionally, the site contains many ads, many articles redirect to other (sometimes unsafe) websites, and articles are often highly bias and don't include facts to support a viewpoint other than their own.
