Great site to check past history on websites.

May be a decent site in some ways but, it hosts a LOT of spam pages. I have a guestbook section on my forum which is open to guest posting and I get a LOT of posts that link to archive.org pages offering prescription drugs and such.

This site has a large collection of media, not just books. For that reason, www.archive.org should be advertised more. Downloads are quick, and they come out just the way you would expect. There are no advertising traps on the sites, nor are there any malicious software being planted in any downloads. If you are looking for media that is rare, or not easily found on Google, this may be the site for you.
