Also, this service is used by Scamers / Spammers to harvest email address for "Get Rich Quick" schemes and/or lists created for the intent to share and/or sell.
Does Creastery claim that EVERY website has viruses on it? These people go to great lengths NOT to spam. If I buy a list and try to email them, Aweber will ban my heiney. It's double opt-in confirmation. If they DIDN'T do that, they would get a nasty reputation and be out of business. Spammers don't have legitimate mailings, they use poorly configured servers belonging to someone else to send their crap.
I'll not deny that someone could use this service to send material that could be ear-marked as spam, but that's an abuse of the service by the customer, and is against the policy of the website and company. Spammers suck, and I hate them, but Aweber seems to be trying to stay honest.
Some of these comments are ill-informed. To say that someone is a spammer without investigating is misleading and a poor comment. It's a free country, and yes I know Aweber is on some blacklists (due to a few bad customers), but all aweber emails come from individual companies. If there's a spammer, it's the company that buys the service, not the service itself.
If you received hate mail from someone, and it was delivered by the postman, would you punch him out? If so, you're making the same mistake.
