Had signed up with several companies who used aweber. They got compromised and now all those unique addresses get spam.

Severe Security Risk! This site will wake up your doorman.

aweber does not provide secure forms (SSL - HTTPS) type "SSL" into their "knowledge base" searc and you'll get 0 results. Also, this service is used by Scamers / Spammers to harvest email address for "Get Rich Quick" schemes and/or lists created for the intent to share and/or sell.

Great Site and auto Responder. I have been using them for years on business.

Does Creastery claim that EVERY website has viruses on it? These people go to great lengths NOT to spam. If I buy a list and try to email them, Aweber will ban my heiney. It's double opt-in confirmation. If they DIDN'T do that, they would get a nasty reputation and be out of business. Spammers don't have legitimate mailings, they use poorly configured servers belonging to someone else to send their crap. I'll not deny that someone could use this service to send material that could be ear-marked as spam, but that's an abuse of the service by the customer, and is against the policy of the website and company. Spammers suck, and I hate them, but Aweber seems to be trying to stay honest. Some of these comments are ill-informed. To say that someone is a spammer without investigating is misleading and a poor comment. It's a free country, and yes I know Aweber is on some blacklists (due to a few bad customers), but all aweber emails come from individual companies. If there's a spammer, it's the company that buys the service, not the service itself. If you received hate mail from someone, and it was delivered by the postman, would you punch him out? If so, you're making the same mistake.

The server doesn't load when I try to connect to it. I think this is a spam site also.

Always confirms before sending, never sends unsolicited e-mails (excepting confirmation e-mails.) here's an idea: to not get spammed, don't click the confirmation link...
8
Scam site. Leaves users at risk of identity thefts.
