The block checker functionality no longer works. This was one of the more legitimate MSN block checkers around (no email harvesting, AFAIK). However, the bug in the MSN protocol that allowed these block checkers to see what someone's real status was fixed long ago.

I don't know what they do with the msn username that you enter, but I have checked a number of these msn checkers with my own account out of curiousity, and they say that you're offline even if you are online. Its a fraud to that extent. I suspect that they are merely after clicks for the adverts, though it is suspicious to want you to enter an email address
