They say the books are "Usually dispatched within 24 hours" but then they send you an email saying the shipping takes from 5 up to 10 working days and also they send each book separately.
I've bought two books, waited 2 weeks and only received one.
I find this site consistently the cheapest for books I wish to purchase, even disregarding the shipping fees which their competitors often charge (TBD do not charge for postage and packaging). TBD has a wide range of printed and audio books, packages their deliveries quicker and better than most, and has very helpful customer service when things go wrong. They seem to operate on a "if we don't have the book, we'll get it for you" basis, and routinely offer significant discounts from the list price whether they have the books or not. I don't even bother looking elsewhere any more; The Book Depository is where I get all my books from these days.
With free postage to Australia, and incredibly competitive prices, Book Depository is now my only book store. I accidentally placed a double order once, and got a refund immediately, after being contacted by a real person to resolve the issue. The choice of books is extensive. By far the best online shopping experience so far.
The Book Depository has now become my only on-line bookshop. They're cheaper than Amazon because of their free delivery policy, if nothing else. Orders are also usually delivered more quickly, because they send each book separately and must do so virtually right away. I normally order books from them nearly every week and have been doing so now for over a year. I couldn't be happier with the service they provide.
