Appears as if they linked to your site, although they haven't. When I clicked the link to their site, Avast Antivirus informed me that it had blocked malware from the site.

spammers, and it re-directs to another site, "sharebuttons.net", to created and share spam links, no good, something a spambot network would set up.

Site sends bogus traffic to your website.

I was wondering why the #1 referer to my local, non-English website was "buttons-for-website.com" which clearly has no links to it. Apparently these guys use referer spam to get traffic. Regardless of site content itself, this method is very shady.

Noticed we were getting several referrals. Seemed suspicious.

Persistant crawler referral spammer

Site uses HTTP_REFERER spamming to advertise itself, and asks those who join their program to add an offsite javascript to their site. This could POTENTIALLY be used to introduce malware (drive by downloads, and other nasties) to client browsers. Not saying they are distributing malware, but with such a low brow SEO scheme, I would not trust them not to.

This site has come to my attention as a persistent referrer spammer on my sites, the accesses to my sites coming from widely different IPs, no doubt in an attempt to avoid being blocked. Any site doing referrer spamming is a disreputable one, and NOT to be trusted!
