Hi drsumit,
Thanks for your review. I agree with you that a service provider should not allow its service to be abused and do nothing about it. At Comm100, we have made a lot of progress in this regard.
1. We significantly raised the bar for email marketing senders, closed all the accounts below the bar and reinforced our monitoring mechanism to catch the spammers at the earliest time possible. You can see that Comm100 related domains have already been removed from the Spamhaus black list.
2. For live chat, to fight against the illegitimate users, we stopped the support of text chat link, so that spammers can no longer use our live chat in their emails. We also did a thorough scan of all of our users and shut down hundreds of accounts that we considered suspicious. We even have an in-house black list to stop these spammers from coming again.
3. To make things harder for the spammers, we made business email and email verification required in our signup process, which means you can only sign up successfully with a valid business email. This costs us a lot of legitimate users. But as it's an effective way to protect our service from being abused, we just keep it.
We have already been making all our efforts to fight against the illegitimate users and protect our service from being abused. And we have seen significant progress. Hope you can see it, too.
Thanks.
Anna
