I find this site very safe to download from but beware what programs you download they still may contain a virus or spyware/malware don't trust a vendor you haven't heard of that's my advice. Do some homework first before downloading program's your not sure about. That's my advice. Take it or leave it.

It is a good site, but I have noticed a few rogue programs that CNET has on their site. The majority of downloads and information are good and quite useful, but they definitely have rogue programs available for download....that is not good.
