Bait and switch - supposedly free software; then they want you to pay a monthly license fee to use it.

Went here to download a DVD drive driver, it says that it is a company that provides it but no, i downloaded what was supposed to be a driver and its some sort of software wanting to scan my entire machine! Intrusive, unwelcome, false advertising and definatly fakes! Beware!

This web site is NOT gateway. They trick you into downloading a program NOT from gateway to supposedly download gateway drivers but itsead its a for pay program that supposedly downloads and installs drivers for you which is not what I was searching for and should not be on the top of the search list. Particularly since I don't trust them one bit.

Just be aware of witch link you click. Do not click any link with 'Ad' on his site, download button on sidebar, or anything that it's not in main article. Check if filename is ok and check file for viruses. Do not open it if you're not sure.

Wenn ich den Treiber nach dem ersten Versprechen doch nicht bekam, warum sollte ich daran glauben ihn nun nach dem Bezahlen tatsächlich zu bekommen??

Bate and switch site. Doesn't say anything about a cost until after you've downloaded the software, installed it and then when it finds lots of drivers for you only then when you click download do you get the full picture AKA - PAY NOW

Be careful to check the drivers after download. I just downloaded drivers supposedly for the Sony Xperia M phone only to find they were for some Acer device.
