The best search engine there is.
100% Private, duckduckgo doesn't track or bubble you and !bangs make it better than google.
Downside is no monetary conversion and if you are looking for a specific location it is better to use google for the maps.

I switched to DDG from Google some time ago, largely because Google's insistent badgering for more and more information & serving me up undesired 'personalised' search results. DDG's privacy policy is rock solid and something most search providers would do well to mirror.
The recent DDG UI redesign is absolutely terrific, and makes DDG as aesthetically pleasant as Google's experience. Some time ago there were valid concerns about DDG not offering as much search depth as Google, but I've found this to no longer be the case for the vast vast majority of my searches - I perhaps have to use Google to find what I require in only 1 in 30 searches or so.
A search engine that is only getting better, and retaining its core values whilst doing so. So far, a big thumbs up from me.
