I get that they publish a good deal of "fake news", but this site is nothing more than a satire of the news. For example, I saw an article called "Extensive 10-Year Study Shows That People Who Own Cats are Cat Owners".

This website is very misleading without a closer look. Yes, it's satire but that doesn't mean it deserves praise.
Just as you may enjoy it others have the right not too. It's an opinion. Simple as that.
It is satirical, while I have not really found most of the content amusing there are people out there that entertained by it so it certainly has it's value. however, I have come across pages that redirect and launch un-closeable popups. This occurred with Internet Explorer that I use for my website evaluation job.
