Le site en.softonic.com est-il sûr ?

when I tried to install a software downloaded from this site, there was a stealth installation of Avast antivirus. I found a lot of such experiences from other people also when I checked. Never again I will go to softonic WOT must recheck its rating of 81% and I would lose trust in WOT itself

i remember going on here for the first time thinking it was safe, but then right as i clicked the link, it downloaded some fake avast antivirus thing. it was obviously a virus and it was downloading really fast, so i panicked. but i cancelled the download just in time :') dont go here, its dangerous. theres shareware, freeware, and also PUPs. one of the pre-installed antiviruses on my computer gave me an extension a long time ago, and its quite useful. i decided to go to this website about 10 minutes ago, and the extension didnt let me go to the website. it gave me the shareware and freeware info. please, dont visit this virus filled website o r e l s e : )

Este sitio es una basura, 3 veces descargué aquí, y las 3 veces me han salido virus, este sitio no es seguro, y por lo que sé, no solo yo me he topado con Virus aquí, he escuchado de mucha gente que su computadora se ha infectado por esta página del asco.

I don't know how this website has a good rating and showing green circle, all the recent ratings are so bad. also this website is full of adware (every download is an adware) and it shows games that are not even released yet, and shows some programs that are not free as freeware totally a scam, adware, potentially unwanted programs installer.

This site nearly always installs unwanted software / Spyware or malware. Stay Away. I have had spyware and viruses from them. site itself isn't malware which is why i'm putting it 2/10 its the users' fault attackers put fucking malware and other scams onto the site to trick people and before a new owner came to the site it gave you a toolbar every time you downloaded something although i have downloaded stuff that isn't malware here, a lot of it is... 2/10, suspicious but not really malware

If one is not careful of clicking download links, you could end up downloading horrible, unwanted apps and programs instead of the originally intended app or program one wishes to download. These people are savages when it comes to placing ads on their site.
