There is no way to tell from the email you get if these are legit Paypal links or a phishing scam. Therefore I will stay far away and NEVER click on any. If this is Paypal, then shame on them for using such sloppy methods!!

A phishing (PayPal impersonation) email was received. Beware!

I don't see how it could be illegitimate. It has a valid High Assurance SSL certificate, signed by DigiCert, for PayPal Inc, of San Jose, CA, as anyone can verify by going to https://epl.paypal-communication.com in their browser and looking at the cert. Still it is strange that PayPal uses this in addition to their main domain. Very strange. Seems like a dumb, anti-settlement move by PayPal. The domain came in a DKIM-signed "Notice of Class Action Settlement" email from PayPal. The email said to go to ***** but the underlying link was to https://epl.paypal-communication.com/T/v2000001564577aa7d9d1261f4bbe5bf30/f4f625df95a54bb80000021ef3a0bea4 and it doesn't load anyway.

I first logged into Paypal from my safe bookmark, then used the link in the email that was WOT Yellow. It is a legit link. It took me to the statements, a place in the new Paypal that is no where to be found!

This is PayPal - Used to pay accounts

This link appeared in a fake email from PayPal. (Assuming this is intended for phishing.) It appears to redirect the user to the official PayPal homepage hence it may seem genuine. All I can say is this this link was given in a phishing email and so I assume it can not be trusted.
