Their privacy rights have gone downhill but yet they say their main priority is privacy. That's why since the latest update, all people on your friends list can see all your friends...where you used to be able to hide your list from people. That's a major break in privacy
Basically if you have your settings alright then you shouldn't run into any trouble. :o)
Also you have to be 13 at least too join.
Just for some extra added information in the millions of WOT users Facebook is the second most visited website; you can't beat Google. ;o)
Great site for social networking. Make sure you review your privacy settings. And if you have children on here make sure you friend them so you can keep an eye on them.
If what I hear is true, unless you uncheck a box in your account settings, Facebook will begin sharing your personal info/all info to 3rd party sites which basically means that anyone can see anything. Of course you never heard about this from FB. Also, are they really going to start charging a monthly access fee?
Facebook is a huge "mixed bag", since it is mostly user content. However, as far as the privacy issue, Facebook has some serious "loss of face" here! It is way too complicated to set privacy options, even for a techie. Luddites will never figure it out. And it is anything BUT child-safe.
Too many misleading ads. Most of them are not helpful, there are even some creepy ads like 10 tips for body reduction (It's picture is creepy to me) and some games Treasure Isle gets their way onto other apps and traps you by giving a message with this:
"If you rather bring someone in the island who will it be?
Your sister? Your family?
Your love? Your friend?
--> next "
It gets annoying and mostly gets on some following apps:
Your Luck
Quiz apps (all of them, mostly they sticks to this apps because the user may thought it was the quiz)
