Spam has gotten out of control on Facebook. Privacy issues are a real concern due to their allowing of applications to access personal data w/o permission.

Facebook makes an individual's privacy settings very open by default, which can easily entrap children and adults that do not pay strict attention to their settings. I would happily rate FB higher in the subject categories if they used an 'opt in' model in lieu of their current 'opt out' model.

Es werden sehr persönliche Daten erfragt (Wohnort, Arbeitgeber, besuchte Schulen etc.) Auch bei der Einschränkung "nur Freunde" können diese Daten ohne Kenntnis des Users durch eben diese "Freunde" an Dritte gelangen, wenn dieser Freund ein Spiel oder ähnliches benutzen will, bei dem die Freigabe der eigenen Daten verlangt wird. Von dieser Freigabe sind jedoch auch sämtliche Daten der bei diesem User registrierten Freunde betroffen.

A very interesting website...where old friends, long lost relatives, new friends can be traced/found. I like the privacy facility available...and I can even choose who can or cannot see my pics or videos or my wall posts. No wonder I'm on my FB most of the time!
