Not really child friendly. Swearing, pornography and generally innapropriate content in some sections.

You'd have to be LOOKING for unsafe content to find it here. (It exists, but in a sertain section and is clearly labeled.) The administrators enforce those rules.

It's a great site, and you're not going to get offended unless you try really hard, and even if your kids found porn, you should only be worried if they DONT look at it.

Entertaining, but not safe for children under their teens, especially the little ones. 15+, I'd say. Otherwise, it's a good site for video games, minimal to no ads, and a strong community.

The forum serves its purpose, the official Garrys Mod forum. But there can be found pornographic pictures and other adult content on the site. And after all Garrys Mod is a modification of the +18 game, half-Life 2.
