I signed up for the service to explore new business opportunities. I spent no more than 5 minutes on the service and shortly realized that it was not relevant to my business industry. I called to cancel my free trial that same week. The team member said the account would not charge me for the upcoming month as I was still under the trial period. Months later I look at my bank statements and noticed charges for $29.95 from FindRFP. FindRFP had charged me for every month since the sign-up date. I called the support line to cancel my account again and asked them to refund my service. They emailed me a form for the refund. I filled the form and email it to the same support staff. The refund was never processed and on top of that, they charged me for an additional month. I finally called today the support team said that the accounting department made a final decision not to refund me. I asked to speak with a manager, the manager heard my story then placed me on hold. The line was bounced to the support staff member and proceeded to tell me that there is nothing they could do. I asked to speak to the manager's manager. He said he would pass on my situation to the manager. I asked for the support staff members name (Thomas), I asked for his last name and then he just said "no". I asked him for his manager's name and then he hung up the phone. I called again it brought me to voice mail. Response from Find RFQ: "We reviewed the customer's review and found it to be false. We provide customized sales leads to our subscribers. Our experienced researchers find matching sales leads for our customers and send to them via daily notification emails. The customer signed up for the service on ***** After using the service for more than four months, he called to cancel on 9/16/2016, and then sent in a request for refund on ***** claiming that he thought the service was free. The customer has been downloading bid information from the customized links that were prepared for him. We charged the non-refundable monthly fee as per the service agreement during the months that the customer was an active subscriber. We stopped charging monthly fees as soon as the account was closed. We determined that the charges were valid. We are sorry that we cannot issue refund as we have already provided the services as requested." My Response: 1. "via daily notification emails" = Untrue, I unsubscribed from all emails from FindRFP. The service is and will not be useful to my business. 2. "After using the service for more than four months, he called to cancel on 9/16/2016” = Untrue, I called within 7 days of the service and also unsubscribed from all emails from FindRFP. The service is and will not be useful to my business. 3. "thought the service was free” = Untrue, I never assumed that otherwise I would not enter my credit card information. I tried to cancel the service 7 days prior to the free trial, and it never did. 4. "customer has been downloading bid information from the customized links that were prepared for him” = Absolute lie. I tried the service for 5 minutes and realized it was not for my business, nor did it apply to my business. I had no use for the information and nor will I ever because my line of business does not apply for what the service outputs. I did not download any information after my first time using the service and only time of use was during the free trial, and no information was prepared for me, ever. I don’t even know why FindRFQ is even arguing such a claim as I have actual email records to prove otherwise. 5. "We are sorry” = Why would a someone be sorry if they think they are not doing something right? Ethically disgraceful, wrong advertisement, terrible communication, unorganized, and obviously have no clue how to manage customer relations.
