These guys make FlexNet. A form of DRM that writes to your boot sector that can render Gnu/Linux systems and systems encrypted with TrueCrypt unbootable. They've used this in InstallShield.

These are the authors of InstallShield that somehow downloads with other software and installs to attempt to take over updates. It does not ask for permission. It does NOT provide an easy REMOVAL program or option. To me that makes it MALWARE in its worst form. Shame on this company for being so unprofessional in the pc world.
