It is time to drop it yet one more notch- possibly even on the brink of light red. For a long time I had been dismayed at the diminishing quality of the content- especially the page-click inflating galleries with poor quality information.
The latest stunt is they attempt to block users who filter 3rd party spying/spammy ads. I allow ads- clean first party ads that don't spy on the public.
Until they clean up their act this one is getting a time out.
I used to think this site was OK where all you had was the "Thought of the Day." Now, it appears that you must disable Ad Block Plus to use the site. I have assigned a WOT rating of Suspicious for this reason. Any site requiring a user to disable their ad blocking software to even enter it represents questionable business practices.
