Very annoying. Shipping information says UK orders filled from UK, no taxes or duties to pay. After spending a lot of time making selections, when checking out, guess what? Some items "cannot be shipped to your country", the rest have duty and taxes added. I wrote to them asking for an explanation, got no response. Good-bye fragrancenet.com. Thanks for wasting my time.

I have dealt with Fragrance Net for several years, and always had good service, good products, but on "complaintsboard.com," I have read several negative reports about them. They now have a business tie-up with Bizrate, which obtains personal information about Fragrance's customers by trying to get them to fill in a sham survey, for which they are thanked with a gift of "free": magazines. S&H costs just a few dollars, which gives Bizrate the excuse to obtain the customer's credit card number, and that's when the trouble starts, under what is known as an "automatic renewal service" system. You may not realize it, but you're hooked for one or two years of monthly magazines. Security software companies operate the same racket, even the top firms including Symantec, which supposedly awarded Fragrance with an SSL Certificate (whatever that is), so beware! Can't understand how they get an "excellent" rating!
