FreeNode IRC is a whole bunch of nice and pretty ladies.

Freenode is incredibly reliable and trustworthy. Many larger organisations also have their live support channels on their IRC network due to it being so reliable and trustworthy.

A very good IRC server. Many projects, including Arch Linux, GNU, FreeBSD,Ubuntu and Minecraf have support channels here, for example.

Although there are some weird, or stupid things/bugs on freenode (like its ircd not being able to resolve reverse DNS of a domain with multiple entries), I still think this is a very, very good IRC network.

Vary trust worthy, and vendor reliability, as well good privacy. They are the best free IRC host ever. :)
