I dunno to what extent they can feed all those hungry kids (don't think too many people actually click on all those adverts) but they sure help in improving your vocab.

fast and easy way to learn new vocabulary in multiple languages. Great for boring lectures. And feeds the world grains at a time!

This site is such a good cause! You get to play vocabulary games (or other subjects) and for each question you get right, it sends a certain amount of rice to needy places. You get to increase intelligence and feed hungry people at the same time!

I'm not sure whether any rice is really being donated as I study, but it's an excellent study tool.
