Le site gather.com est-il sûr ?

I have been a member of ***** since 2006, but I've been less active on the site for several months and have not checked on my account for the last month. I went to show my Dad my images on ***** this weekend... the site has gone to a wordpress format, won't let me log in, won't send me my password, and gives me an error message when I attempt to visit my account. This, with no email notification from Gather, no communication whatsoever from the administration. There is no "contact us" or "help" tab that shows on the site when I visit Gather.com. Looks like everything I put up on the site is simply gone forever - the writing, the photos, everything. This is the second time I've lost an entire gather.com account due to bugs from a site update, and about the 4th time I've lost content for that reason. The first time I had an issue it took months to even get it addressed, and that only happened after I started a new account and began writing about it for other people in the community to see. If my stuff really is gone, I don't really want my password issue fixed, as I can't really consider the site trustworthy or even worth using for fun.
