Is godaddy.com Safe?

GoDaddy overcharges and can sometimes take your domain out from under you. See ***** for more info (I have no affiliation whatsoever with either party). They have adult ads, lots of annoying offers, terrible customer support (told me to Google the answer), and also cheat WOT. The rating is good but there are 50/50 comments. This is because GoDaddy repeatedly rates itself well which is dishonest. Do not use GoDaddy.

Every customer on a shared hosting plan is liable to be infected with spam, malicious malware, viruses and such. They will NOT allow you tro transfer domain names over, and will constantly SPAM you for information when you dont want to renew one. Spending 2-5 dollars more on a domain that is transferrable through a trusted company, would be much more preffered than the lot of morons at this company. Most companies don't have anti malware help for their customers, no instead their smart enough to keep the malware holders at bay, and keep the moff their servers. If you're against the ToS - DONT SIGN UP!

This site is good however some of the domains have malware and viruses. If you are going to buy your own domain from this site, you are responsible to take care of it if you build your own website. Keep malware away and don't forget to check your site for malicious scripts and clean it.
