Must be the best search engine I have used. Will use IE9 and Yahoo every now and then (even tried out Firefox) but find their homepages cluttered with junk and adverts.

Simply the best search engine out there. It's safe searches are brilliant and I cannot recall ever having seen any adult/inappropriate content when strict or moderate safe search has been on, and I've been using Google a long time. It's privacy policy is good and I've never received any spam or viruses from it. My only quibble is that it doesn't do enough to block illegal sites. For example, type in 'listen music' and the first result it'll come up with will be Grooveshark (at the time of rating), which is dodgy in the US and highly illegal in many countries.
