Look, aside for tracking you (which isn't that bad if you don't do anything EVIL). The site itself isn't bad. The adverts 99.999...% of the time have viruses, but I have Adblock, so I don't see them.
With Google INC., privacy is a major concern, considering that the search engine giant has purchased Adware ad server Alexa www.alexa.com. I am not keen on this, but it does display a good amount of results for different searches.
Very useful. I think it is the fastest, safest, most reliable search engine on the planet. They usually have good security if there is a milicious site, it usually gets removed (unless it's VERY unpopular as in almost no one has visited the site before) I love it, use it everyday and never had a problem with it :)
Google does a cracker jack job at taking your words and searching out the material that closely matches what you were originally looking for. Even so no internet site is perfect and Google is just like the rest of them. Due to recent hacking breaches to email accounts, and reports of shoddy efforts at filtering porn material away from children I can't completely trust all of Google's services. Hopefully the high publicity of these recent acts will get Google's security team off their asses and back to work, but in the meantime us users are just going to have to stay alert and use common sense when in a wild environment such as the internet.
