Google has done an excellent job and continues to be the best search engine. I am not sure on their privacy, but they say it is all anonymous. The fact is that nothing is anonymous on the internet, so get that notion out of your head ;)

Make sure the search filters are set high if you're allowing young children to use this site! You'd be surprised at the pornographic results you can receive from the most harmless of search topics.

Google isn't the best search engine...There is another called Copernic...It takes from ALL of the search engines. Also Google isn't good for kids. Bing you can make it much safer, more settings. Bing and Copernic work best for me...Yahoo is pretty good too. I hate Google. It'll bring up things not related to what I typed in.
